GTAC loses charter member Charlie Bagnasco

Carlo “Charlie” Bagnasco died April 14 after a two-year illness. He was 78.  Charlie studied accordion with renowned music teacher John Pezzolo in San Francisco before moving to the Salida-Manteca area as a young man.

A truck driver and farmer by profession, Charlie loved to play accordion; he was well- known for performing at the Swiss Club in Ripon and at other Swiss events. He was a faithful attendee at GTAC meetings, from the club’s first gathering, in January 1999.

Charlie leaves his wife, Ann, son, Martin, daughters Lisa and Nina, seven grandchildren and brother, John Inderbitzin.
